France would ratify Bulgaria's EU accession treaty by October 3 2006, Darik Radio reported.
France, Germany and Denmark are the last three countries that still have to ratify the treaty.
Bulgaria's President Georgi Purvanov would meet his French counterpart Jacques Chirac during the 11th Summit of the Francophone Movement that will be held in Bucharest on September 28 and 29 2006.
Purvanov and Chirac would discuss Bulgarian-French relations, Bulgaria's EU membership and the trial of the five Bulgarian nurses charged with intentional HIV infection in Libya, Darik said.
German vice-chancellor Franz Muentefering said as quoted by Bulgarian National Radio that Germany would also ratify the treaty in time, so that Bulgaria's EU accession would become fact on January 1 2007.
