France would open partially its labour market for Bulgarian and Romanian workers after the two countries' EU accession on January 1 2007, French foreign ministry spokesperson Jean-Baptiste Mattei said.
Bulgarians and Romanians practicing 61 professions would be able to apply for job in France, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
Migrant workers would be able to work in the fields of construction, social activities, hospitality, food industry, agriculture, mechanics and metal processing, processing industry, trade and cleaning, Mattei said.
These fields created nearly 700 000 work places in France in 2005, he said.
Other sectors would remain closed for the Bulgarians and Romanians, Mattei also said.
Eighteen out of 25 EU member countries announced that they would impose labour market limitations. Only Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Poland and Slovakia would keep an open door policy.
