On August 1 the Foreign Ministry said that 15 Bulgarians living in Lebanon were expected to leave Beirut and travel to Syria on August 2.
Only four out of the 15 people were ready to leave the country on August 2, Darik Radio reported quoting Foreign Ministry spokesperson Dimitar Tsanchev. The other Bulgarians were still thinking whether to travel on their own.
One or two of the families live in the Baalbeck region, which came under Israeli attack during the night, preventing the people from reaching Beirut.
The Foreign Ministry lacked information of Bulgarian casualties. No other Bulgarians expressed their will to leave Lebanon, Darik Reported.
