Sfumato theatre-laboratory offers subtitles in English to eight plays it plans to stage from June 18 to 21 2007.
The plays are separated in several modules, based on topics.
Aliocha and Ivan are the first two plays to be performed. They are included in the Valley of the Death Shadow module, dedicated to Russian writer Dostoevsky.
Both plays interpret Dostoevsky's novel Brothers Karamazov. They will be performed at 4pm and 9pm on June 18.
The second module, Exit, also includes two plays, Astapovo Station and Elabuga Staion. The module commemorates Russian poet Marina Tsvetyaeva and Russian writer Lev Tolstoy. The performances will be held at 4pm and 9pm on June 19.
Among the other plays to be performed are The Dance of Death and Miss Julie, included in the Strindberg Programme The Way to Damascus module. They will be staged on June 20, same hours.
