The final group of Bulgarians and their family members, willing to leave Lebanon, has been evacuated, Foreign Ministry said.
A group of 80 people left Beirut to travel to Syria, Darik Radio reported. Eleven people, who traveled alone, joined the group in Syria.
Diplomats from the embassies in Beirut and Damascus escorted the group. The Bulgarians left Syria with a charter flight to Varna.
Nearly 20 Bulgarians leaving in affected regions in Southern Lebanon and the Bekaa valley left with the last group.
With the departure of the last group the evacuation of Bulgarian citizens has been completed, Darik reported. The Bulgarian embassy in Beirut would continue functioning to aid the Bulgarians who decided to remain in Lebanon.
The number of Bulgarians who left Lebanon has reached 300 people. Darik reported that the Foreign and Transport Ministry would cover all expenses related to the evacuation.
A number of Bulgarians left Lebanon on their own between July 19 and 23.
