A renowned exhibition of Thracian treasures is returning to Bulgaria and will be on display in the National Museum of History (NMH) from July 11 2007, NMH director Bozhidar Dimitrov said.

The exhibition was on display in Switzerland until recently and is to leave for Japan in the autumn of 2007, netinfo.bg said.

UK television company Channel Five and Discovery Channel are to film the transportation and unpacking of the artifacts.

They are preparing a 120-minute film on Thracian culture.

The film will portray the Thracian civilisation and the work of Bulgaria’s archaeologists and explorers.
