Bulgarian painter Stavri Kalinov exhibited some of his paintings in one of the two main buildings of the European Commission (EC).
The exhibition was dedicated to Bulgaria's EU accession, Bulgarian news agency BTA said.
Bridget Czarnota head of Bulgaria unit in the EC Enlargement Directorate-General proposed the exhibition, BTA said. Michael Leigh, director general of the directorate, opened the exhibition.
Kalinov's works exhibited include mainly icons and reproductions of his famous paintings. They are exposed in the lobby of Charlemagne (Charles the Great) building in Brussels.
It happens to be the more visited of the two main EC building. The building accommodates several offices of the EC.
