European experts are starting on Monday October 30 inspections of car insurances in Bulgaria.
During a two-day visit the analysts would examine the readiness of Bulgarian drivers to travel within EU member countries without undergoing driving license inspections, mediapool.bg reported.
The experts would meet representatives of the Finance Ministry, road police and the Financial Supervision Commission.
Direct road inspections would occur on October 31, mediapool.bg reported.
The foreign experts would inspect randomly selected vehicles. These inspections would prove whether sufficient number of drivers in Bulgaria have the needed insurances.
Similar inspections occurred in Romania the previous week. Less than 10 per cent of the drivers there lacked an insurance.
Inspection results would be announced on November 13, mediapool.bg reported.
