The European Parliament is going to congratulate Bulgaria for its EU entry in the end of November.
A draft resolution said that the EP was expecting 18 Bulgarian politicians to join its structure, as well as the arrival of the country's European commissioner.
The resolution would be voted on November 28 or 29 in Brussels, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
EP rapporteur for Bulgaria Geoffrey Van Orden drafted the resolution. His report was created after the European Commission recommended on September 26 Bulgaria and Romania's on-time EU entry.
The project requests from Bulgaria maximum transparency in all proceedings, including privatisation, employment of civil servants and of justice officials.
Bulgaria was also to work on problematic areas mentioned in the EC report to avoid the introduction of safeguard clauses, the EP resolution said.
If the resolution is approved in its current state, it will recommend the provision of energy supplies so that Bulgaria could meet its own needs, as well as the needs of the region, the national radio reported.
EP's resolution calls for flexible approach to the closure of reactors of Kozlodui nucear power plant. At the same time it was not looking for security compromise, as nuclear safety was chief priority.
