The snowboard club in Smolyan will construct an eco path that leads to the town's symbolic rock Nevyastata (The bride), funded by the Phare programme.
The path would start from the entrance of the St. Pantaleymon chapel and reach the peak of the Nevyastata rock, Focus news agency reported.
Safety along the route would be improved, the agency said.
The current wooden step would be replaced with metal steps and an artificial climbing wall would be added.
Tourists would benefit from a special Alpine trolley which would make them ''fly'' from the top of Nevyastata to a nearby hill.
The project has been estimated at 86 million leva. Greek town of Praksis would contribute to the project realisation by popularising the new route in Greece.
