European External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner will give a public lecture at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
The topic will be women in politics, a European Commission Representation in Bulgaria media statement said.
Consumer Protection Commissioner Meglena Kouneva will introduce Ferrero-Waldner.
The lecture will be at 3.30pm on September 17 2007 in Sofia University’s Aula Magna hall.
The lecture is being organised by the EC representation in Bulgaria, Sofia University students’ council and Open Society Institute.
Ferrero-Waldner visited Bulgaria on July 24 2007 when she accompanied the six Bulgarian medics released from prison in Libya.
