
World famous musician, guitarist, composer and producer Mark Knopfler will stage a concert in Bulgaria.
Knopfler will take part in the seventh edition of the Arena Muzika 2008 music festival and will be held on Hall 1 of Sofia’s National Palace of Culture.
The concert will be part of Knopfler’s world tour, dedicated to the musician’s new album Kill To Get Crimson, to be released on September 24 2007.
Tickets for the concert will be on sale from September 24 2007 at 30 to 70 leva.
The musician was founder and leader of one of the legendary groups of 1980’s, Dire Straits. The band released hits like Money For Nothing and Brothers In Arms and gained popularity both in the US and Europe.
Knopfler developed as solo performer and has been the author of 26 albums, nine of which with Dire Straits and 14 solo.
