"Enjoy the silence" would not be an appropriate wish to extend to all Depeche Mode fans in Bulgaria on Monday May 18 2009, when the band is coming for their second gig in Sofia, as stated on their website.
Bulgaria is a stop of their European Tour of the Universe 2009. To accommodate the Depeche Mode hysteria, organisers have reserved the national stadium Vassil Levski.
In 2006, their first ever show in the country gathered more than 40000 fans on the Lokomotiv stadium, where the band gave an uninterrupted two-hour concert. According to some sources, this is the event that attracted the largest number of fans in the Bulgaria's concert history.
Tickets go on sale on October 13 and could be found on www.ticketpro.bg.
Cancellation of Athens gig could boost attendance at Sofia performance on May 18.
