One of the world's greatest saxophone players, David Sanborn, comes to Sofia for a concert on October 25. The alto saxophonist is known for mixing rock, rhythm'n'blues, pop and jazz, influencing a whole generation of new musicians and it is not by chance that he is considered one of the most successful American saxophonists ever.
Sanborn has released 27 solo albums and has worked with names like Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, George Benson, Al Jarreau, Elton John and Miles Davis, to name a few. His six Grammy Awards are also well deserved.
The event will be held at 8pm in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK), and comes shortly after his new album Here and Gone is released on September 1.
Tickets are available for 30 to 60 leva at the NDK ticket desk and via ticketpro.bg.
