The Czech Republic will offer Bulgarian and Romanian workers unlimited access to its labour market upon the EU entry of the two countries.
Czech prime minister Mirek Topolanek announced the 'open door' policy on December 1, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
Topolanek said that Czech citizens were not willing to be subjected to free movement restrictions. As a result such were not going to be applied to other people, said he.
As a protective measures, Prague would draft a limitations project, which could be introduced in case these were necessary, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
Data of the Czech labour and social policy ministry shows that nearly 440 000 people in the country were unemployed. At the same time 100 000 work places are available, the national radio reported.
