COUNT BASIC TO OPEN AUTUMN SOFIA JAZZ PEAK IN BULGARIA

Austrian acid-jazz band Count Basic would open the autumn edition of the Sofia Jazz Peak festival.

The concert would be held on September 17 2007 in Hall 1 of Sofias National Palace of Culture, avtora.com reported.

It would be the bands first visit to the country. The musicians would present their last album Love and Light, which has been recently released, as well as their most famous hits.

Tickets are already for sale at 40 leva.

Count Basic was founded in 1993 by the Austrian guitarist Peter Legat and the US singer Kelli Sae, who are the also main members of the band.

The band has produced several albums, among which Life Think it Over, Moving in the Right Direction and Trust Your Instincts.
