Corporate credits for non-financial companies amounted to 21.5 billion leva at the end of November, which was a 69 per cent increase on the year or 4.6 per cent compared to the month before, data from the Bulgarian National Bank showed.
Corporate credits since the beginning of 2007 had increased by close to 62 per cent, with bad and restructured credits at 1.7 per cent, compared to 2.4 per cent over 2006, mediapool.bg said.
Household credits grew by 3.7 per cent compared to the month before, to 13.2 billion leva at the end of September, or 52 per cent on the year. Since the beginning of 2007, the growth in this sector had been 46 per cent, mediapool.bg said.
Consumer credits and mortgages grew by 4.7 and 2.5 per cent respectively over November, compared to the month before, to 5.67 billion and 5.28 billion leva. Annual growth of consumer credit was 44.8 per cent, and for mortgages 65.7 per cent.
Bad credits and restructured consumer credits were 4.15 per cent, compared to 3.97 per cent at the end of 2006. For mortgages the figure stood at 2.14 per cent, compared to 2.12 per cent at the end of 2006.
