Famous Bulgarian pop folk singer Azis became the father of a girl on August 5.

He said that he was the biological father of the baby, who was born in St Sofia Hospital, dir.bg reported.

Azis and his same-sex partner “Kitaetsa” caused a stir when participating in the most recent season of reality show VIP Brother in Bulgaria. Azis has long made his sexual orientation part of his public persona.

The baby’s mother has been a friend of Azis since his youth. Azis told Trud daily that the child was going to live in normal circumstances and he was going to prove that he could be a father.

The baby is expected to have a second father in the person of Kitaetsa.
