16:00 Thu 22 Feb 2007

Right-wing Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) organised a discussion on Energy Policy and Security Under the Conditions of Bulgaria's European Union membership.

Leaders of UDF, energy experts, scientists, economists, ecologists and Members of Parliament took part in the event, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported.

The discussion focused on the lack of sufficient arguments on the need for the construction of Belene nuclear power plant (NPP).
