CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES IN BULGARIAS STRANDZHA PRESERVE
09:21 Fri 01 Sep 2006

Crash 2000 company continued constructing a villa complex in the preserved area of Strandzha nature park, Dnevnik newspaper said.

In August 2006 the Environment and Water Affairs Ministry forbade all construction work within the park's territory for a one-year period.

Crash 2000 neglected all the bans and the first part of the complex was almost ready, journalistic investigation showed.

The complex construction violated several laws. Legalisation procedure violations were also registered, Dnevnik said.

Environment and Water Affairs Minister Djevder Chakurov said that the protected area was going to remain unchanged, despite requests. In January 2001 the protected area decreased by 0.06 per cent and further changes were not expected, Chakurov said.

Fine, so take positive action against those who violate. Fine them, tear down the construction, finds ways to make business difficult for them so as to teach them and others lesson. i read recently about gypsy constructions being torn down so lets see some equality and do the same to developers who violate also.
