Concessions from the extraction of building and mud-coating materials brought 3.72 million leva in revenues last year, an increase by 1.7 million leva compared to the year before, investor.bg reported, quoting a report of the Bulgarian Regional Development and Regional Works Ministry, presented at a cabinet session on November 8.
Revenues came from 143 concessioned sites, the report reads.
The bulk of the concessionaires paid out their dues to the state in time, according to the report.
On the same day, the government granted Belogradchik Mine Holding AD for a period of one year permission to screen opportunities for the extraction of technological waste from coal extraction and coal processing activity in a one sq km site off Belogradchik. The company would invest 15 000 leva.
