On December 19, State Administration Minister Nikolai Vassilev gave the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) 300 computer configurations for the needs of the judicial system, the State Administration Ministry announced, as reported by Focus news agency.
The granting of computer equipment is part of the State Administration Ministry's policy to modernise state administration.
In 2006 the State Administration Ministry granted 100 computers to the VSS, Focus said.
The same year, it gave more than 2000 computers and servers to regional and municipal administrations. In November 2007, all 264 municipal administrations received one more computer each and the 28 regional administrations two computers and a laptop each, Focus said.
