AUDI SPARE PARTS
Montupet vice president Didier Crozet said the French company would start manufacturing spare car parts for Germany’s Audi at its plant in Rousse, Bulgarian-language daily Pari reported. Montupet will produce spare parts Renault and Dacia as well, employing 70 specialist for the production. The first parts have to be ready by December 2007. The approval of the samples by the client will take a few months and mass production will most likely begin in May 2008. Montupet’s plant will be the first one to start operating in Industrial Park Rousse. The construction of the production facilities, which will have a total area of 20 000 sq m, is supposed to be completed in June 2007.
PORSCHE CENTRE SOFIA
Investment company Orchid Developments Group Limited sold its daughter company Snowside Limited to Landmark Property Management for 13 million euro, Bulgarian-language Dnes.bg reported. Snowside Limited owns the office building Porsche Centre.
Orchid Developments benefits by about six million euro from the deal. The construction of Porsche Centre, near Sofia Airport, was finished at the end of 2006. The rental area is 8000 sq m, including offices and showrooms. Nova Televisia and the Porsche distributor for Bulgaria are among the key tenants of the place, which has 114 parking spots under and above ground level.
