Bulgaria’s State Agency for Tourism (SAT) worked on a 45-second video clip, dedicated to promoting Bulgaria on CNN television channel.
The video promotes Bulgaria as year-round tourism destination, offering sea vacations, ski, spa, wine, business and golf tourism opportunities and its rich cultural and historic heritage, Bulgarian news agency BTA said.
Open Doors for Open Hearts was the slogan used to create the video.
CNN will air the clip two weeks in March, June and November 2007, SAT said. The airing will coincide with major tourism expos in Berlin , Moscow and London , and the beginning of summer tourism season 2007.
SAT said that the promotion campaign was a good opportunity for popularising Bulgaria in the world and for improving the country’s image as modern, year-round tourism destination.
As part of the campaign CNN airs a second 30-second video called Sights and Sounds, prepared by the channel.
