Bulgarian government will inevitably undergo staff and structural changes according to most of officials from the ruling coalition.
The coalitions ruling council will probably meet this week to discuss changes. Prime Minister and leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) Sergei Stanishev will announce his decision then, Dnevnik daily reported.
Cabinet changes will not affect the current structure concerning the participation of political parties according to most politicians who referred to the statements of the coalition leaders after the European parliament members elections (MEP) on May 20.
Governmental sources said that BSP will change two ministers and each of National Movement Simeon II (NMSII) and Movement for Rights and Freedom (MRF), BSPs coalition partners, will change one minister.
The three ruling parties said that Economy and Energy Minister Roumen Ovcharov, who was supposedly involved in a corruption controversy, will have to leave his position.
BSP did not exclude possible replacement of Labour and Social Policy Minister Emilia Maslarova and Health Minister Radoslav Gaidarski.
Justice Minister Georgi Petkanov from the NMSII quota features among figures that will reportedly be replaced by another person.
