CHANGES IN BULGARIAS CABINET ANNOUNCED BY MID-JULY- PM

Changes to the Cabinet will be made by July 15 2007, before Parliament goes into recess, Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev said after a summit of the leadership of his Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP).

Stanishev said that he would speak on the phone to the leaders of the other two parties in the ruling coalition, National Movement for Stability and Progress (NMSP) head Simeon Saxe-Coburg and the leader of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), Ahmed Dogan.

The three leaders will agree on a date for a meeting of the political council of the tripartite coalition, Focus news agency reported.

According to Stanishev, the summit will be held by mid-July.

The political council of the coalition will also discuss the foundation of two new structures, the National Security Agency and National Forestry Agency.
