Chairman of the EU Military Committee, Henri Bentégeat, is on an official visit in Bulgaria.
He would be meeting with Chief of Staff of the Bulgaria army Zlatan Stoikov. Later in the day he would meet with President Georgi Purvanov, have meetings in Parliament and at Defence Ministry, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
Tomorrow Bentégeat would visit the air-force base in Graf Ignatievo.
Since mid-2007, Bulgaria has been in the EU defence group with Greece, Romania and Cypress.
