The newly formed centrist Citizens for the European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB) is certain of its victory in the upcoming members of European Parliament (MEP) elections, CEDB founder Boiko Borissov said.
On April 21 CEDB launched officially its electoral campaign, Novinar newspaper reported. CEDBs election list includes 18 candidates.
The party has various enemies as nobody wants to change the political status-quo in Bulgaria, Borissov said.
CEDB will aim to turn Bulgaria into a stable island on the Balkans, Borissov said.
The party will seek the partnership of various political formations, Borissov said. Among the potential partners is the rightist Union of Democratic Forces (UDF).
