On November 27 Sofia would host a meeting of the Central European Initiative (CEI) members states' heads of government. The forum would be held under the auspices of the 2007 Bulgarian CEI Presidency, Bulgarian National Radio BNR reported.
Initiatives organised during the Bulgarian CEI Presidency would be assessed during the meeting. The situation in the CEI member states would be discussed. CEI reform results, starting regional co-operation and CEI's place among other organisations, as well as processes and initiatives in the region would be discussed, BNR said.
Improving the co-operation with the EU to achieve more effective assistance to CEI members who were not EU members, in the process of their integration in the European structures, would be among the topics discussed.
The CEI heads of government were expected to adopt a final document and would adopt the annual report on the CEI activities.
Members of the European Commission and of other international and regional organisations had been invited to participate in the forum.
