Twenty-seven French and Francophone higher educational programmes will be represented at the second Salon CampusFrance to be held in Bulgaria, this year taking place at the Institut Francais in Sofia on March 4.
At noon on March 4, the salon will officially be opened by French ambassador Etienne de Poncins; Antoine Grassin, director of scientific and university co-operation at the French ministry of foreign affairs; André Siganos, general director of CampusFrance; Catherine Suard, cultural advisor and director of the French Institute; Etienne Cazin of Agence CampusFrance; and Hubert Guicharrousse, university and scientific co-operation attaché.
The college fair, which is open to the public, will be held from 10am to 10pm. Focusing on master’s and doctorate programmes, it includes 20 French establishments of higher education [Université Montesquieu Bordeaux 4, Université du Maine – Le Mans, Université Paris Est (Paris 12), Université Versailles St-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Université Catholique de l’Ouest – Angers, Sciences Po Paris, Ecole internationale des sciences du traitement de l'information (EISTI), Ecole d'Ingénieurs en télécommunications (ISTASE), Institut Supérieur de Mécanique de Paris (Supméca), Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers, Ecole de Management de Lyon, Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (EAP), Groupe Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et Technologie & Ecole Internationale du Design (ESCT-EID) Toulon, Mod’Art International Paris, and Ecole d’Art Maryse Eloy Paris] and seven French-language study programmes in Bulgaria [Sofia Technical University de Sofia – electro-engineering and informatics, University for Food Technology Plovdiv – food technology, Sofia University – economics and business administration, New Bulgarian University – both hotel management and political science, University of Chemical Techology and Metallurgy Sofia – industrial chemistry, and Institut de la Francophonie pour l'Administration et la Gestion (IFAG)].
Also present will be representatives from the Pôle universitaire européen de Strasbourg and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).
Throughout the course of the salon, it will be possible to register via on-site internet access and to photocopy documents. Student interpreters will be present at each stand to offer assistance.
