Bulyard to build two ships worth 60M euro

Bulyard shipbuilding Industry announced it would build two new ships of the Future 56 type and with a deadweight of 56 000 tons, the company's majority shareholder, Industrial Holding Bulgaria (IHB) said in a filing with the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, where it is listed.

The 60 million euro investment will be financed by IHB subsidiary KLVK AD, with ships are for handover in May 2010 and 2011, respectively.

To recall, Bulyard shipbuilding industry finalised the construction of a ship owned by Navigation Maritime Bulgare.

Last year, net profit of IHB rose 30 per cent on the year to 11.86 million leva.
