Bulgarians living in the Gaza Strip have request their evacuation, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Dimitar Tsanchev said.
Preparations for the evacuation have started, Tsanchev said.
Such moves were needed due to the situation in the Palestinian territories, Foreign Ministry said.
Bulgarians living both permanently and temporarily in the region have expressed desire to return to Bulgaria.
The number of people willing to be evacuated reached 25. Most of them are of mixed marriage.
Foreign Ministry is currently examining and verifying the evacuation list.
