The police in the Greek town of Seres arrested two Bulgarian citizens for possession of forged euros.
The arrested are a 27-year-old woman and a 39-year old man, Greek radio Sky reported.
The two tried to pay for clothes with a counterfeit bill of 200 euro.
Police seized from the two another eight counterfeit bills, three forged credit cards and four mobile phones, Sky said.
According to the Greek policemen, the Bulgarians had already managed to trade counterfeit money worth 1600 euro.
The arrest of the Bulgarians is only days after Spanish police detained another Bulgarian citizens trading counterfeit money.
