Bulgarian President Georgi Purvanov and his wife Zorka Purvanova will visit the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan from December 3 to 5 on the invitation of King Abdullah II.
The official programme would include a meeting with king Abdullah II and plenary meetings between official delegations of both countries, a media statement from the President's press office announced.
In the presence of Purvanov and Abdullah II, an inter-governmental agreement on political collaboration and international transport, as well as a co-operation programme in science, education and culture, will be signed.
Purvanov will also meet prime minister Nader al-Dahabi and president of the senate of the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan Zaid Al Rifai.
A Bulgarian-Jordanian business forum will be organised as part of the visit.
Purvanov will have a meeting with the organisation of Jordanians, who finished their education in Bulgaria.
The delegation includes Members of Parliament Stoyan Prodanov and Ahmed Yusein, Interior Minister Roumen Petkov and Transport Minister Petar Moutafchiev, Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister Feim Chaoushev, Culture Deputy Minister Yavor Miloushev, Interior Deputy Minister Goran Yonov and a business delegation.
