Krassimir Karakachanov, leader of the Bulgarian party VMRO, received a letter containing death threats on the evening of September 19 2007.
The letter was sent from Macedonian capital Skopje, a party statement said as quoted by Focus news agency.
It was not the first such letter that Karakachanov received. This time the threats were written “in short, clear and standard Bulgarian.”
The letter said that Karakachanov would not be let into Macedonia, that his agents were known and that they will have no peace. Well organised people would deal with the agents, according to the letter.
The sender said they would be happy with Karakachanov’s death.
Less than two months ago, Karakachanov received two other letters with death threats, again from Skopje.

| This has largely been ignored by the western Media outlets, which implies it's a load of rubbish!
Unfortunately there are many old school Bulgarian politicians who focus on destorying the reputation of Macedonia.
In this case, he has been known for making derogatory statements against Macedonia for some time which is why he is even ignored by the Macedonian government. It seems he himself has the attitude of a partisan communist.
Please re-focus your efforts on providing jobs for your people and increasing your states living standards and who knows perhaps allowing for registration on OMO Ilinden policital party. After all you are supposingly a democratic state...??!!
