BULGARIAN PARLIAMENT ACCEPTED JUDICIAL BUDGET 2008

Bulgarian Parliament accepted in second reading the Judicial Budget for 2008, Bulgarian national radio (BNR) announced.

The Judiciary budget 2008 foresaw earnings of 5.2 million leva, expenditures of 385.3 million leva and 333.3 million leva in transfers.

Budget for expenditures for the High Judiciary Council (HJC) was set at 4.776 million leva, for the Supreme Court of Cassation at 13.889 million leva, for the Supreme Administrative Court at 9.829 million leva and for the prosecution at 104.346 million leva. Expenses for National Investigative Services were set at 8.878 million leva and for the Inspectorate of the Supreme Judiciary Council  600 000 leva, Bulgarian news agency BTA said.

The budget foresaw income from fees levied to the total amount of 45.8 million leva.

The reserve budget for urgent and unforseen expenses was set at 600 000 leva.

Salaries and remunerations in the Judiciary Budget for 2008 amounted to 213.917 million leva.
