The Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) approved a 2007 draft budget exceeding 1.8 million leva.

Funds will be received from the State Youth and Sports Agency, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and from sponsors, Bulgarian National Radio reported.

BOC is negotiating the participation of additional sponsors. In case agreement is reached, the budget could swell to two million leva.

The draft budget will be voted on during a general summit scheduled for April 27. During the summit BOC will also examine expenditure and income for 2006.

Budget for the past year reached 2.475 million leva. More funds were allocated due to the participation in Olympic games.
