“It is pressing to start this debate on the reforms in the political system,” Antoni Todorov, political analyst and advisor to President Georgi Purvanov told Bulgarian National Television's morning show, commenting on the round-table discussion on the changes to Bulgaria's electoral system that Purvanov will hold on July 7.
It was necessary to make some changes so that the 2009 elections could be held under clear rules and so that the citizens get more motivated to participate in political life, he said.
