- This day of boycott is only the beginning of a series of such actions, Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) leader Tsvetan Tsvetanov said on the morning show of Bulgarian National Television (BNT). The opposition parties have decided to boycott the Cabinet. However, the exact date of the event is not specified yet.
The boycott will find expression in joint actions of civil society, including all NGOs, labour unions and political formations, but all actions will be lawful because we dont want chaos, we dont want inflation and we dont want disorder, Tsvetanov said.

- Salaries' growth was twice the rate of inflation, Economy and Energy Minister Plamen Dimitrov told BNT.

The state had formed a special committee of deputy ministers to monitor what is happening in Kremikovtzi steel mill, he said, commenting on the situation in the troubled plant.

The state had even given money, which the European Commission had declared illegal.

Kremikovtzis main creditor is undoubtedly the state.

Asked if the increase in construction costs at South Stream gas pipeline would not delay it, Dimitrov said that precisely because of the increase in the project's price it should be completed as soon as possible.

- National Veterinary Service chief Zheko Baichev told private broadcaster bTV that demands for his resignation constituted a political attack.

Baichev said that since he came to office, he had made export, import and trade orders, among others, harming the interests of some people in the process.
