An exhibition of Ghanaian art will be opened at 6pm on November 28 2007 in Sredets hall in the Culture Ministry building in Sofia.
The exhibition commemorated the 50 anniversary of Ghana’s independence, Focus news agency reported.
Works of various authors and exhibits from the collection of Republic of Ghana’s honorary consul general Gospodin Gospodinov are included in the exposition.
The collection consists of more than 100 objects, collected over more than 40 years.
Culture Ministry and the Ghana consulate in Bulgaria organise the event.
Gospodinov himself made 20 sculptures of Bulgarian khans, kings and leaders of the Bulgarian National Revival, which will also be shown in the exhibition.
The exposition will be opened until December 6 2007.
