Some of the most active criminal bands in Spain are Bulgarian.
Nearly 400 bands from 35 countries, among which Bulgaria, are active in Spain, Spanish interior ministry said as quoted by ABC daily.
Except for the Bulgarian bands, those from Romania, Columbia, Morocco, Albania, Nigeria, France and former Yugoslav republics are among the most active ones.
Russians are specialised in laundering money from criminals in Russia. The other bands are involved in drug trafficking, vehicle theft, armed robberies and women trafficking.
In 180 operations against organised crime in 2006, Spanish police arresting 757 people. Only 248 of the detained were Spanish citizens, ABC said.
During the operations, the police seized 50 tons of cocaine and 200 kg of heroin.

 | Muy cierto. Los bulgaros se dedican sobre todo a robar coches de alta gama. Y ayer acabaron con una banda bulgaro-rumana que hacia billetes falsos de 200 eur. de gran calidad y practicamente identicos a los verdaderos. Y digo yo ¿siendo tan listos por que no se dedican a algo bueno?
Aqui tenemos delincuentes de sobra.
