The Council of Ministers passed a document named Bulgarian Contribution to the European Commission (EC) monitoring report on Bulgaria's accession readiness.

The document contains information on Bulgaria's accession progress achieved from April 28 to July 2006, Bulgarian National Radio reported. The document examines the reforms in the separate negotiation chapters and the fulfilment of political and economic entry requirements.

The aim of the document is to contribute to the objectiveness of the next EC report expected in September 2006. The Bulgarian Contribution project was created as part of the Cabinet's European integration strategy aimed at co-ordinating efforts of various institutions on matters related to EU entry.

The document will soon be presented to the EC.
