Tottenham’s striker, the Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov, might be back in the game sooner than expected, his agent Emil Danchev said.
At first, media reported that Berbatov might be absent for two to six weeks.
“I can’t say when exactly he will be ready to play,” Danchev told the Bulgarian Darik Radio.
According to Danchev, Berbativ would miss the Derby County match, but he had hopes that the player would recover in time to play for the national team.
Bulgaria will play Wales in a friendly on August 22 2007. Berbatov’s participation in this match would be a boost for his team, if the striker is in a condition to participate, goal.com said.
