The first ladies of Bulgaria and Russia, Zorka Purvanova and Lyudmila Putina attended the name-giving ceremony of the Russian language test centre of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
The new centre has been named after Academician Victor Vladimirovich Vinogradov, Focus new agency said.
The ceremony was also attended by Russian ambassador to Bulgaria Anatoli Potapov, Sofia University rector Boyan Biochev and the dean of the Faculty of Slavic Studies Valeri Stefanov.
Wife of the Russian Federations president Vladimir Putin, Lyudmila Putina is on a two day visit to Bulgaria on the occasion of the 11th congress of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature.
