A strategy for overcoming Bulgaria's demographic crisis has already been developed, President Georgi Purvanov said during the opening of a kindergarten in Rosen village.
All resources would be used so that social aid for child care increases in the coming months, Purvanov said.
In addition, mothers would receive more funds for the months they spend away from work, while taking care of their children, Purvanov said. Working women would be provided stimuli to give birth, said he.
The kindergarten in Rosen village was built using funds from the Sozopol municipality, Bulgarian news agency BTA said.
More such facilities were needed to promote education in all Bulgarian regions, Purvanov said.
