
Bulgaria is working on the priorities of the German presidency of the EU, Foreign Minister Ivailo Kalfin said during a meeting with chairperson of the Christian Social Union (CSU) Peter Ramsauer.
Kalfin said that Bulgaria could contribute to EUs policies in the Western Balkans, Kosovo and the Black Sea region.
The country could also further work on the common European constitution, Kalfin said.
Another topic of discussion was co-operation between Bulgaria and Germany in the energy sector.
Ramsauer also met European Integration Minister Gergana Gruncharova. Bulgaria supported the German presidency and evaluated highly its efforts, Gruncharova said.
Germany followed carefully political developments in Bulgaria, Ramsauer said. Bulgaria had already achieved a lot, he said.
Ramsauer said that hopefully Bulgarias progress would be noted in the upcoming European Commission report on the countrys reform progress.
