BULGARIA WINS NINE WRESTLING MEDALS

Bulgarian competitors won nine medals from the international wrestling championship that is taking place in Romania’s Brasov.

Competitors won three silver and six bronze medals, Darik Radio reported.

Classic wrestlers obtained three medals. In the 55 kg finals round Ivo Angelov failed defeating Russian competitor Viktor Korabliov and remained second with a silver medal.

Emil Milev, 60kg, and Plamen Petrov, 66kg, won bronze medals. They defeated a Romanian and a Russian competitor respectively, Darik reported.

Freestyle wrestlers won six medals. Martin Emilov and Nikolai Kourtev won the silver and the bronze in the 66kg category.

Ivan Deliverski also deserved a silver medal. Maksim Petrov, Dimitar Stoyanov and Bozhidar Boyadzhiev all won the bronze medals in their disciplines.
