Bulgarias volleyball team defeated Poland by 3:2 in the European volleyball championship for men.
Despite the victory, Bulgaria lost its chances for the semi-finals of championship, Focus news agency said.
Bulgarian volleyball team took the lead in the first game with 1:0. Bulgarian players managed to win in 23 minutes with 25:20 points.
Poland won the second game with 25:16 points.
Thus, the Bulgarians lost their chances to take part in the semi-finals. Even if the Bulgarian team had won by 3:1, they would not be able to collect enough points to reach the semi-finals, Focus said.
It was Bulgarias first victory over Poland in eight matches over the past years.
