Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) suggests that the Labour and Social Policy Ministry introduces annual quotas for foreign specialists working in Bulgaria.
The quotas would be determined by the applications of economic sector and employers' organisations to fill in the gaps in the Bulgarian labour market, mediapool.bg said.
The quotas will not exceed the 10 per cent share of foreign workers in Bulgaria, determined by legislation.
BIA presented its suggestion to the Deputy Prime Minister Emel Etem and to the Labour and Social Policy Minister Emilia Maslarova.
