Bulgaria will take part in the biggest tourism expo in the world, ITB, State Agency for Tourism (SAT) said.

ITB will be held in Berlin form March 7 to 11 2007. Bulgaria will participate in the expo for the 39th consecutive time.

SAT head Anelia Kroushkova and deputy head Stanislav Novakov will lead the Bulgarian delegation to the expo, Bulgarian news agency BTA said.

Korushkova and Novakov will hold meetings with World Tourism Organisation representatives as well as with German, Austrian, Argentinean and Turkish tourism institutions representatives.

Nearly 11 000 exhibitors form 180 countries and regions are expected at ITB in 2007.

More than 160 000 people will probably visit the expo.
